take this very lightly

everything is coming out. every secret, every hidden structure, every shadow. pandora's box is open and there is no closing it.

the question being asked of us — the only question that has ever really been asked — is simply whether we are willing to let it be.

the truth is not hierarchical. it is not owned by any institution, tradition, or flag. it is simply awareness. the awareness that is beyond the body and the mind, beyond memories and aspirations and fears and attractions.

what you are is a light so full it dissolves everything that is not itself.

dante saw it at the center of the empyrean — angels arranged around a brightness the mind cannot wrap itself around. maybe that is because the mind was never meant to wrap around it. maybe it was only ever meant to dissolve into it.

a vessel is anything you enter in order to know yourself more completely. a body. a name. a relationship. a belief. a song. a story about who you are. even the senses are vessels. in reality, what you call the sky is not blue. what you see is an optical illusion.

every vessel is temporary. this is no tragedy. this is a function of life.

you enter earnestly, engage fully, and in that very engagement the vessel teaches you what it came to teach. and once the lesson lands — which happens as soon as you stop holding back — the vessel which has served its purpose shatters. a kachina doll, dismantling itself from within.

letting go is an act of will until it isn't. at which point trying to let go is another form of grasping. the harder you push against something the more solid it becomes.

the real movement is subtler. you just stop paying attention to it.

you don't destroy the vessel. you don't transcend it through effort. you simply redirect your attention toward the light behind its appearance. the vessel, without attention to sustain its cycle of birth and death, dissolves on its own. quietly. without drama.

this is what detachment actually is. not a heroic severing. just a gentle withdrawal of the animating force. attention is what makes things solid, what makes them feel like walls. and attentive withdrawal is the only dissolution that lasts.

the body is a vessel. the mind is a vessel. money, sex, ideology — vessels. clinging is just attention that hasn't yet found something more luminous to rest on. it isn't a moral failing. it is misdirection. and the correction isn't punishment. it is simply — oh. there is something brighter than this. and you look.

when i say i am god i say it as lightly as i can.

to be god is not to be an overlord. it is to recognize the play of being itself. the light at the center of the empyrean is not separate from the light reading these words.

say it anyway, whether or not it feels true yet. i am light. i am light. i am light. say it until it stops feeling like a claim and it starts feeling like illumination. because that is what it is. a return to self. and as you remember, watch what happens to everything that told you otherwise. you don't have to fight it. just keep looking at the light. the rest will forget itself.

pandora's box is open. we do not need to pretend anymore.

i am not here to recruit anyone. i am only committed to being unwaveringly myself.

say to yourself: i am this, i am that. listen with your whole being to what that feels like. and as your attention finds its true home, everything else will dissolve in its own time. eventually you will just be, without needing to say anything.

vessel by vessel. breath by breath. until what remains is what was always there.

even if everything is temporary — the journey is still worth taking.

may you take this lightly always.
