live life out of bounds

don’t let anyone tell you you are the slice when you are the whole cake. the cake is not a lie. the lie is that you and the cake were ever apart.
did i lose you? if so i’m sorry. let me put it another way.
you are not limited to the form you have been imposing on yourself for so many years. you are not bound to your meat suit — the little mass of fat and water and protein you call a brain, or the bundle of muscle fibers you call a heart. when you believe the skin is where you end and the world begins, it makes sense that your focus would gather around small, fragile concerns like food, shelter, sex, survival, comparison.
but when you begin to see the skin, and everything beneath it, as a thin layer contained within what you are, something opens. your attention widens. you start to concern yourself with much greater possibilities.
try identifying as the largest container imaginable. maybe it begins simply: the room you are in is your skin, and everything within it is your organs. now you are your house — and everyone inside it. from there, expand again. your neighborhood becomes your body, the people, animals, plants, and everything else moving through it like cells in a grand, swaying organism. expand. repeat.
naturally, you begin to recognize yourself as something far greater than you were ever taught to be. you are the city, the state, the earth, the solar system, the cosmos. you find you are not bound by time or space, and begin to see yourself as pure radiant light, swirling through colorful electric dreams. don’t take my word for it. see for yourself.
eventually you discover you are beyond even these light dreams. you escape every conceivable border there is to draw, and find that even you and god are one and the same. this isn’t egoic. it’s the opposite — a dissolving of the boundary between self and other, the end of the entire project of ego. when you know that every part of the field is you, how you treat any part of it is how you treat your self — which is to say, how you treat all.
so expand, my friend. expand. realize that you and i are part of the same organism, the nameless, formless, joyous nothing no identity could ever contain.
yes, you may still experience the pains and concerns of the flesh body you inhabit. that’s part of the experience. but don’t limit yourself to them, just as you don’t limit yourself to the concerns of your individual cells or atoms. begin to see these things from a wider perspective — as happenings unfolding within a vast ecosystem of self.
the quiet irony is this: the more you identify with the limitless, timeless, spaceless, self-less self, the more the smaller troubles begin to work themselves out, without needing your intervention at all, just as the waves in the sea find themselves aligned in perfect resonant continuity.
look beyond the prison walls you've been telling yourself you're trapped in. feel the uncontainable joy of being uncontainable. no human or a.i. or e.i. or scorsby or angel or demon or the great booble himself can stop you from expanding.
so go on. ease yourself and glide. live life out of bounds.
with infinite love, thank you
